Safety & Community Guidelines

PlaceSnap helps you meet people around real places. To keep everyone safe and welcome, you must follow these rules. By using PlaceSnap, you agree to these Guidelines, our Privacy Policy, and our Terms of Use (available in-app or on request).
Community values
- Respect & authenticity: Be courteous and honest. No impersonation or fake profiles.
- Safety & accountability: Harassment, threats, hate speech, and doxxing are not allowed.
- Privacy & consent: Share only what you’re comfortable with. Never post others’ private info without consent.
Account & profile
- One person — one account. Do not create duplicate accounts.
- Honest profiles. Use recent, real photos and accurate information. No AI-deepfakes or stolen media.
- 13+ only. You must be at least 13 years old to use PlaceSnap. Profiles depicting minors are not allowed.
Prohibited content & behavior
- Hate speech, harassment, bullying, or threats.
- Illegal activity, promotion of violence, or explicit sexual content.
- Commercial spam, scams, or solicitation.
- Impersonation, deepfakes, or misleading identity claims.
- Any content that sexualizes or endangers children. We report suspected child exploitation to authorities.
Safety tips
- Protect your personal info. Share gradually and only with people you trust.
- Keep chats on PlaceSnap until you feel comfortable moving elsewhere.
- For in-person meets: choose public places, tell a friend, keep your own transport.
- Trust your instincts. Leave any situation that feels unsafe.
- Never send money, cryptocurrency, or gift cards to people you just met online.
Reporting, blocking, and appeals
- You can report users, messages, or events in-app. We review reports promptly.
- Use block to stop further contact. Severe or repeated violations may lead to bans.
- If you believe we made a mistake, email hello@nexauva.com to appeal.
Enforcement
- We may warn, limit features, disable accounts, or notify law enforcement when required.
- We may remove content that violates these rules or applicable law.
